Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cake Marketing ("Cake," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit cakemarketing.ai (the "Site") or contact us about our services.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you email us, book a call or become a client, we receive the details you share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and anything you include in your message.
- Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records basic technical data when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the visit. This is used for security and to keep the Site running.
- Cookies. The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security providers may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule calls.
- To provide, manage and improve our services for clients.
- To send service-related messages, such as project updates and invoices.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
- Cloudflare for website hosting, security and email routing.
- Google Workspace for email and documents.
- Google Fonts to display the Site's typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
- Calendly when you choose to book a call. Information you enter there is handled under Calendly's privacy policy.
Client data
When we build or manage marketing systems for a client, we work inside accounts the client owns, such as their CRM, ad accounts and email platforms. The client controls that data. We access it only to perform the services we have agreed to, and we follow the client's instructions and our written agreement with them.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
